VIKKING HOMES

Our constructions are reliable

We offer prefabricated buildings made in timber frame technology.
As a company we are able to complete projects „from design to result” at a sufficiently rapid pace of construction process.
Thanks to over 20-years of experience, we offer constructions:

High-quality materials mean high standard

We specialize in design and construction of energy-efficient houses in timber frame technology.

The construction process is ecological and sustainable starting at the production stage of used components – we use only natural products, which have positive impact on the environment.

Why prefabricates?

Prefabricates are the sign of the technological advancement in construction and allow for the part of the production process to be moved to the factory ,therefore reducing work on-site to the assembly of building components.
Usage of prefabricated elements allows for:

  • faster construction works,
  • greater independence from weather conditions,
  • improving the quality of individual building components,
  • significant increase in dimensional precision, e.g. our high-tech machinery cuts construction elements with an accuracy of 0.2 mm.

Heating. How much does it cost?

Our aim is to reduce the amount of electricity used to heat the building and water. We also place particular emphasis on heat recovery, which is the key parameter generating costs in the operation of residential buildings.

Thanks to an innovative insulation technology, the anticipated heat transfer coefficient U of the building with all external walls is 0.14 – 0.15 [W/m2K].
In order to increase energy efficiency of the building we use:

  • recuperation with heat recovery,
  • infrared heating panels – as a standard,
  • heating mat systems – at extra charge,
  • air source heat pump – water underfloor heating – at extra charge

Will I be comfortable?

We offer residential buildings with high thermal comfort thanks to a building envelope made of natural ecological insulating materials such as cellulose wool with a guaranteed heat transfer coefficient of U = 0.14 – 0.15 [W/m2K]

Mold? Fungus? What about my health?

Our energy-efficient frame house can be described as diffusively open. In our solutions, the outer wall of the building is not a complete barrier for water vapor and therefore regulates humidity well. It is able to absorb a certain amount of moisture and it transfers the excess to the outside. When the humidity inside the building drops, the external wall transfers moisture back inside.

Recuperation is a key element of the house. It is a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery, used to exchange dirty, used air for clean and fresh air, while recovering some of the heat that has already been accumulated.

What happens in case of fire? Am I safe?

In the production process of our houses we use materials that provide fire protection and do not make them more susceptible to fire compared to buildings made in different technology. An example here can be fibrous-gypsum boards or cellulose wool which have very low air permeability coefficient, therefore, in a fire, the wooden structure will be protected from hot air and consequently from fire spreading. In order to maintain fire resistance standards we use only chamber-dried and four-sided planed wood. Fire on such wood “glides” and only burns the material from the outside. Of course everything is a matter of time and temperature acting on a given material, but as we all know steel, glass and other materials used even in the most advanced technologies might also undergo combustion.

I need a house,
quickly!

The construction of the skeleton structure of the building does not require light wet technology, and therefore shortens the construction time and does not cause any limitations as to the period of performing the construction works. The deadline for constructing the house according to the scope of construction works from taking over the construction site to the developer’s state is up to 16 weeks.
